Barcelona’s potential: a new government for a new direction
Miquel Laborde gives his point of view on the possible problems that Barcelona could have in real estate policy in case of a re-election by the municipal government.
During the double legislature of Ada Colau at the head of the Barcelona City Council, a series of policies have been carried out that have generated an intense debate in Catalan society. In his opinion, these are, for the most part, measures and decisions that have done nothing more than hinder the economic recovery of the city, thus limiting the great potential that an urban enclave such as Barcelona has in our country.
In his opinion, a radical change is necessary and, in order to achieve it, it is necessary, as a city, a new government team that understands the problems generated, that reverses those ordinances and measures that are a hindrance and makes the most of the opportunities. Only in this way, hit the right keys, understanding the needs and demands of citizens, Barcelona and its economy will shoot up like a rocket.
