The real estate sector closed 2022 on a positive note. After a first half of the year with figures unseen in the last decade, the sector showed its resilient character and ended 2022 reinforcing its position as a safe asset. Thus, real estate investment in Spain grew by close to 10%.
Residential property is the reference asset, but there are other properties such as garages, office spaces or industrial centres that also generate profitability and, as Miquel Laborde points out, “have always been seen as a very important ‘anti-crisis’ refuge asset“.
